Historical Interests:

My primary interest as a historian is in American political, diplomatic, and military history, specifically related to the mid-twentieth century time period (1940 through 1960).   My secondary interest is in the history of Miami, Florida, during the first half of the twentieth century.  This is related to my intent to write a book about my great-grandfather, a Miami Police Officer from that era.  The book would not only focus on his life, but the Miami Police Department and the City of Miami during that time period.
